Ear Microscopy

Ear microscopy is done to clean the ear (wax, fungus, pus), assess and diagnose conditions of the ear drum, document the findings and to do minor procedures like myringotomy and Trans-tympanic steroid injections. We also remove foreign bodies stuck in the ear canal. Rarely, if the FB is impacted, it will need removal at the hospital under general anesthesia. Ear rings and studs which are stuck, painful and causing swelling can be removed at the clinic.
